GENERAL OVERVIEW
Christopher J. Perillo
is an attorney, arbitrator, and mediator offering expertise developed in more
than nineteen years in sophisticated dispute resolution and contract matters.
Chris has successfully arbitrated hundreds of cases by appointment for state and
federal courts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania involving complex commercial,
contractual, real estate, and employment law issues. Chris also has successfully
handled scores of cases involving commercial, contract, and Americans with
Disabilities Act construction issues by appointment for private dispute
resolution forums,
including the prestigious National Arbitration Forum and the American Health
Lawyers Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Service.
Chris also advises clients on commercial, contract, and real estate matters in
private practice. He also regularly presents business law, contract, and
conflict resolution courses at premier institutions including Farleigh Dickinson
University.
Education and Training
Chris earned a Juris
Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from
Drexel University. Chris was named to Dean’s List and recognized as Human
Resources Management Student of the Year at Drexel University. Subsequent to
Drexel, Chris worked for three years in the operations management division of
Mobil Oil Corporation, now known as ExxonMobil Corporation. Chris draws upon his
business background in handling legal and alternative dispute resolution matters
applying financial analysis.
Chris is also a New Jersey Court-approved mediator based upon continuous
training in the dispute resolution area. Training courses most recently
completed include numerous New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education
courses in dispute resolution including Arbitration in New Jersey Courts. Chris
delivered a presentation on arbitration issues at the 2007 Spring American Bar
Association ADR in Bloom Conference in Washington, D. C.
