GREG JOHNSON

  back

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Greg Johnson had been employed in the construction industry since 1982 as a carpenter, estimator, or contractor, until accepting a position as a building inspector for a major metropolitan jurisdiction in 1994. His range of project experience includes high rise buildings, industrial facilities, historic buildings, convention centers, large arenas, multi-family residential, and one and two family dwellings.

As a building inspector Johnson is regularly called upon to lead parties to resolution when they’ve become engaged in disputes.

A past member with seven years of service on the International Code Council’s Board of Directors, Johnson is also experienced at resolving emotionally charged constituent concerns. As a director, he frequently helped parties with competing interests find consensus through difficult and confidential negotiations.

Johnson’s extensive experience in administering complex regulatory language, his belief in the sincerity of most people, and his commitment to dispassionate analysis and judgment are the foundations upon which his clients can build resolution.
