GENERAL OVERVIEW
Jason Pedlar is the Director
for the Centre for Conflict Resolution Studies at the University of Prince
Edward Island. In addition to his teaching and administration roles with the
university, Jason also has a consulting practice based in Toronto, Ontario and
Charlottetown, PEI. In 1998 Jason founded The Med8or Group Inc., based out of
Toronto, Ontario Canada specializing in Conflict Management Systems Design,
Mediation and Facilitation services. In 2002 Jason founded its sister company,
Reconcilable Differences offering training in dispute resolution.
Jason currently lives in Charlottetown (PEI), though travels regularly
throughout the Canadian Maritimes and Ontario.

EXPERIENCE
Jason has experience in property development disputes, supplier and contractor
disputes as well as experience with disputes involving the public approval
processes. Jason is well versed with ISO 9001 regulations and OHSAS 18001 health
and safety policies and procedures and is a trained auditor in both standards.
Jason mediation experience extends over the following areas: community disputes,
workplace disputes, business to business disputes, business to government
disputes. Jason has worked for both the private and public sectors in Canada.
Jason uses an Interest-based approach that attempts to maximize solutions that
are satisfying to all participants.
