GENERAL OVERVIEW Joe Ventola has been a mediator, arbitrator, life/business coach and consultant since 2003. He has experience in engineering, construction, sales, customer support, management, coaching and consulting. He is a co founder in Synergy Coaching Alliance, a corporate coaching and consulting company. Joe has been successfully handling mediations and arbitrations in the Business, Contract Disputes, Auto and Home Warranty areas for 4 years. DEGREES AND CERTIFICATIONS Joe holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is also certified in Life/Business Coaching by the Institute for Professional Empowerment Coaching. He is certified in ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) and has been attending ongoing trainings in mediation and arbitration for the past 4 years. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE Joe has bought and rehabilitated numerous properties to code and worked as a troubleshooter for a local construction company. He is well versed in all phases of construction including, Concrete, Foundations, Framing, Sheathing, Electric, Plumbing, HVAC, Siding, Roofing, Windows and Doors, Kitchens and Baths, Decks etc. Joe is very skilled in dispute resolution because he is a “people/personality expert”. His life experience combined with coach training gives him the ability to work with the personality issues which invariably have a major effect in the process of dispute settlement. Joe understands that many times a dispute is driven by personality traits along with the “matter at hand”. He is a very fair and judicious arbitrator and believes honor and integrity is first and foremost when acting as a neutral. He is able to facilitate mediations expeditiously and fairly because he is skilled at diffusing an adversarial environment as he helps the parties communicate while managing emotions and keeping the issue from becoming personal. Joe is a member of the International Coaching Federation and also a member of the New Jersey Technology Council.
