LISA GRIEBEL

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Lisa Griebel is a founding partner of Terhaar, Archibald, Pfefferle & Griebel, LLP. She has extensive experience in construction contracts, law and litigation. Her area of expertise includes the representation of construction clients in the resolution of multi-million dollar complex construction disputes, including those involving insurance and related bond issues.

She has represented owners, contractors and design professionals in state, federal and appellate courts, as well as in alternative disputes resolution forums. Her work has included the representation of clients in personal injury claims, including wrongful death, as well as property damage claims.

Her work as an attorney has also included authoring papers and conducting seminars related to construction law, contracts and dispute resolution. She has spoken before a variety of audiences including the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association, the Minnesota Safety Council, American Cancer Society, Minnesota Homes for the Aging, as well as has conducted public continuing education courses and in-house seminars for contractors and design professionals.

Ms. Griebel has received the Martindale-Hubbell “AV” rating, the highest rating members of the bar are given. She has repeatedly achieved “Super Lawyer” status in the area of construction law, as voted by her peers.

She is a trained mediator and arbitrator, and a qualified neutral in accordance with the State of Minnesota General Rules of Practice.
