GENERAL OVERVIEW
Mark A. Rosenblum is a partner of the law firm of Rogin, Nassau, Caplan, Lassman & Hirtle, LLC in Hartford, Connecticut and practices in the areas of commercial and construction litigation and is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practices Groups.
Mr. Rosenblum, whose practice involves the representation of both plaintiffs and defendants, regularly appears in all state and federal courts, including bankruptcy court. In addition, he has handled cases involving various types of real estate transaction disputes, banking and lending transactions, employment agreements, claims of wrongful discharge as well as general civil tort law. Further, Mr. Rosenblum has experience in the mergers and acquisitions field, including the on-site reviews of due diligence surrounding chemical supply contracts.
Mr. Rosenblum is a member of the National Panel of Commercial and Construction Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association and has served as arbitrator and mediator in employment, construction, partnership dissolution, and general commercial litigation matters. He also serves as Special Master in Hartford Superior Court.

Mr. Rosenblum is a graduate of Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts (A.B., cum laude, 1975) and Emory University School of Law, Atlanta, Georgia (J.D. 1979).

ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION EXPERIENCE
Mr. Rosenblum has served as an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association in more than 25 cases since 1994, and he is presently a member of the AAA’s recognized National Panel of Neutrals. He has extensive arbitration experience with disputes involving contracts, commercial sales of goods and real estate, commercial leases, partnership obligations and dissolutions, and construction claims. He has served as a Claims Reviewer in a national class action remediation plan involving sales practices of a multi-national life insurance company. For the past several years, he has been an Attorney Trial Referee serving in the Hartford Superior Court as a member of the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch Arbitration/Mediation Panel.
