GENERAL OVERVIEW
Mr. Sincock has over 20 years experience
as an ADR professional and 35 years of experience as an entrepreneur and
business owner, including corporate and construction management; project,
manufacturing and financial management. He has managed large organizations with
over 400 employees in the manufacturing and construction industries, founded and
operated three successful businesses including: (1) an energy management and
automation business, which was sold to a large multi-national company; (2) an
Alternative Dispute Resolution company in Utah, affiliated with a national ADR
organization; (3) a real estate development firm that specialized high-end
residential projects. Mr. Sincock has mediated and arbitrated hundreds of
disputes in California and Utah, specializing in construction, real estate, and
business disputes.
Mr. Sincock has 20 years of experience as a professional mediator and trainer in
negotiation, mediation & conflict management. In addition to his ADR practice,
he has conducted training seminars for individuals through the University of
Utah; for the staff of local municipalities; for Chambers of Commerce; Boards of
Realtors and other organizations dealing with the public. He has lived in Park
City, Utah since 1990 and been active in the community, serving on many boards
and commissions, including being a locally elected official on the Park City
Council. He also authored a book on leadership development, “Inner Path
Leadership” in 2000.

Mr. Sincock has performed hundreds of
mediations and arbitrations, both for a non-profit organization in California,
United States Arbitration & Mediation in Utah and in his private practice.
Having been in the commercial and residential construction industry for 20+
years he has focused his efforts on construction, real estate, business and
workplace dispute resolution, and conducting training and ADR educational
programs. His experience includes resolving disputes between individuals,
owners, contractors, subcontractors, architects, governmental agencies, and
insurance claims.
Paul has conducted negotiation and mediation training for attorneys in Utah (CLE
credit); he has authored and taught courses such as: ‘Conflict Management for
the Workplace’; ‘Negotiation Skills’; ‘Conflict Resolution’; ‘Consensus
Building’; ‘Teamwork’; and ‘Inner Path Leadership’, ‘Turning Complaints into
Profits’. These classes and seminars were conducted through the University of
Utah, sponsored by Chambers of Commerce; Boards of Realtors; and by local
governments and businesses for staff development.

GREEN CONSTRUCTION EXPERTISE
Mr. Sincock has extensive knowledge about
energy management systems, energy audits, building automation, co-generation and
solar energy systems by virtue of his seven years direct experience in reducing
energy usage and demand in hundreds of commercial / industrial buildings through
his own businesses. In addition, he has designed and built several residential
projects using energy efficient (‘green’) practices, including high efficiency
glass & windows, appliances, radiant and HVAC systems, recycled materials
(roofing, insulation, flooring, etc.) solar and photovoltaic systems, passive
earth-berm structures, solar building orientation and more.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
1996-2000: Mr. Sincock served on the Park City Council as an elected official.
He concurrently served on the Summit County Board of Health, Park City Arts
Council and Recycle Utah.
1990-1996. After moving to Park City (1990), Mr. Sincock became active in many
community organizations including a Citizens Action Committee, Regional
Recreation Task Force, Chairman of the Parks & Recreation Board; Kimball Art
Center Board of Trustees; Park City Arts Council Board of Directors; Homeowners
Associations and others.
1960-1989. Mr. Sincock and his wife were involved as volunteers in a non-profit,
educational foundation from 1968 to 1988. Mr. Sincock facilitated hundreds of
courses and weekend seminars dealing with issues of attitude, motivation and
personal responsibility. From 1980 to 1988 he was involved in organizing
large-scale volunteer and educational projects including forums and seminars
with local officials, business and community leaders.
