TREY BERGMAN

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Trey Bergman is an AV-rated lawyer with 25 years of experience in multiple areas of complex commercial and business litigation at all levels of state and federal trial and appellate courts and commercial arbitration proceedings, including banking, creditor bankruptcy, commercial, construction, contract consumer, employment, franchise, fraud, insurance, landlord/tenant, lender liability, premises liability, real estate, RICO, trademark infringement.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

Mr. Bergman has mediated more than 1,000 cases since 1990 with emphasis on complex, multi-party cases including extensive mediation experience in areas of banking, bankruptcy, business, commercial condemnation, construction, consumer, corporate, employment, franchise, fraud, insurance, landlord/tenant, malpractice, maritime, mass tort, municipalities, oil and gas, partnership, personal injury, premises, products liability, property, real estate, securities, toxic tort, usury and appeals.

He has served as single arbitrator, panelist and chairman on more than 50 arbitration panels across Texas since 1990 in hearings lasting from three months to one hour and cases ranging from complex multiparty to simple disputes including commercial, construction, consumer, contract employment, franchise, injunction, partnership, personal injury, real estate and securities matters.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION TRAINING

More than 4,000 hours of basic and advanced mediation, negotiation and arbitration training and teaching experience, trained more than 5,000 attorney-mediators and judges across three continents and the United Kingdom. Adjunct Professor at South Texas College of Law, teaching classes in Mediation and Negotiation.
