GENERAL OVERVIEW

Arch Design, Inc. 2010-2023

Owner. Design/Build firm. Involved in all aspects of residential and some commercial construction from design, sales, bookkeeping, marketing, advertising, and fieldwork as needed.

Remodel. Inc. 1999-2010

Shop work including cabinets, intricate curved cabinetry, and faux finishing. Responsible for all working drawings and communications. 2007 promoted to full-time designer on staff and all client relations during design process and job visits. Also responsible for all marketing materials, correspondence, program development, and office communications.

Affordable Plumbing/New West Construction 1998-1999

General Manager of plumbing service and remodeling companies.  Responsible for all design and estimating for construction company. Oversee all departments in plumbing company including scheduling.

Remodeling Source 1995-1998

Started in field, moved to office. Eventually responsible for scheduling, purchasing, client relations, design, estimating and job costing. Assistant in marketing, design, and shop cabinetry work.

5 General Contracting Firms, 1 Architectural Firm 1986-1995

Office administrative tasks including phones. Billing, customer service, material estimating, purchasing, job costing, client relations, drafting, and scheduling. Fieldwork including electrical, plumbing, stucco, framing, roofing, and general laborer work.

Introduction Architecture classes, Art classes, Mentor Programs. Various Performance Scholarships achieved.

University of New Mexico 1994-1999
Graduated; Bachelor of Architecture. Minor in art.

Grand Canyon University 2015-2016
Uncompleted Masters. Christian Leadership Studies .

2019 & 2023 President of the New Mexico Home Builders Association, involved at NAHB, and Board Member of Local HBA, Remodelers Council, Green Build Council. Secretary on Board for Foundation For Building, (BGNM). Green Build Chair 2012 and 2013. Vice Chair Remodelers Council 2013. Numerous local awards and Honorable Mention in Qualified Remodeler Magazine for projects from 2000-2016. CGR Certified, and CAPS certified through NAHB. Expert witness occasionally.
